Welcome

Thank you for visiting our website.

Frederick Adventist Academy is a private Christian school located in Frederick Maryland.  It is part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist educational system that includes elementary and high schools as well as colleges and universities throughout the globe.

Frederick Adventist Academy provides an opportunity to have Christ as the foundation of your child’s learning.  In addition to education through Christ, Frederick Adventist Academy also provides an environment that promotes academic excellence.

Today’s educational landscape is full of different choices and parents must ask questions in order to determine the best alternative for their children.  We invite families that are seeking answers to these questions to visit us and find out more about our school.

We look forward to meeting you.

Mission Statement

To nurture the academic and spiritual growth of our students

through experiential learning, Christ-centered relationships, and community service through FAith in Action

FAith in Action     /faTH/ /in/ /ˈakSH(ə)n/: FAA students daily serving their community by intentionally choosing to follow God.

Vision Statement

Frederick Adventist Academy provides a dynamic learning environment to challenge students to reach their highest potential.

FAA’s curriculum educates the whole child.  The school provides diverse opportunities to cultivate spiritual growth, mastery of core subjects, health, the arts, the use of technology, and respect for God’s environment. Students are challenged to explore, experiment, and solve problems, and to do so in an environment that fosters a climate of growth and nurturance of life-long learning.

FAA’s students are active learners.  The children learn critical thinking and participate in varied aspects of hands-on learning. Students engage actively, positively, and meaningfully in the world, as effective leaders and communicators, and with strong, Christ-centered values.

FAA’s certified teachers are dedicated to quality education.  Teachers, along with our staff and volunteers, are committed to the process of growth, service to others, to exploration, and engaging learning.  They provide an atmosphere that promotes spiritual commitment to the tenets of Christianity, moral and character development, and service to God and others.

FAA ultimately desires to develop young scholars who will mature to become leaders in their communities, effective managers of their resources, and catalysts for positive change – active learners whose FAith in Action will span a lifetime and into the eternal realm of Christian citizenship.
